I have been a broadband subscriber for some time now; until the last couple of days I wouldn't have anything bad to say. Unfortunately that has recently changed. For the last few days, all my internet traffic is being bounced around the comcast network! A trace route that previously took 4 hops now takes 17. 9 of which are now extra hops within the comcast network.
Overall this has not drastically impacted my web browsing performance. Unfortunately it has drastically impacted services like Skype and Google Talk. Both have been choppy and unuseable. Hopefully Comcast will have this issue resolved soon.
