Dell is buying Equal Logic one of the best iSCSI SAN solution manufactures.
This is definitely exciting. The press release on Dell's website indicates intentions to integrate functionality from the Equal Logic's products into the PowerVault line of storage products currently offered by Dell.
This is also appealing to see that the support, maintenance and warranty of the product could be wrapped into Dell's existing service offering. Which has proven itself time and time again to me. It seems as though the sale is going to take a long time before it is final, which is unfortunate. You never know though, things could speed up.
